St Catherine's School |
St Catherines school is located adjacent to the A21, just on the outskirts of the busy Bexleyheath shopping centre. An all girls school; the project consisted of the construction of a new Humanities block, a new sports hall and the refurbishment of the existing science block.
The sports hall installation consists of underfloor heating; a new dedicated plantroom serving both heating and dosmetic water requirements.
Within the main hall itself both underfloor heating and a dedicated high level supply air system provide comfort conditions for the occupants. High lighting levels were required while still meeting the requirements of Sporting England. |

This contract was carried out on a design and build basis and required close co-ordination with both the architect and main contractor.
Phasing of works had to be carried out inline with school programming requirements and involved shut down periods to coincide with school holidays. |
