Bailey Water Tower |
Major roadworks on the M1 and a petrol chemical fire at Hemel Hempstead that made news headlines were a few of the side issues encountered throughout this project.
Bailey Water Tower consisted of the renovation of a water tower into a high class luxury living accommodation and the new build of 14 number 2-3 bedroom flats.
The project was well underway when Rota were brought in due to the demise of another contractor and required a pro-active response to both design and information procurement.

With as little as 7 days notice design drawings were produced and builders work elements of the project submitted.
Each flat consisted of "pipe in pipe" installations for both heating and dosmetic water services.
On site co-ordination played a major part of the success of this project due to the architechtural advance of the building design.
Another key part of this project was the sole use of electricity providing both boiler heating and dosmetic hot water requirements. |
