The refurbishment of the whole school in phases was the scope of works for this project. Rota carried out (via their consultants) a full survey of services within the whole school which would form the basis of the phased works. Both mechanical and electrical services had to be updated or renewed as required to meet the challenges of the modern day school but still to fall within budget restraints.
The renewal of the domestic hot water plant and the installation of a new food technology area were among the first areas of works to be carried out. Due to all the works being carried out during term time and restraints on working areas with regards to pupil occupation a express turn round on design/approval/install had to be achieved. |
